FFE: The Designer's Dream
When Jesus walked this earth more than 2000 years ago to begin His immensely important ministry, He spoke these immortal words to some local fishermen, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Jesus was establishing a foundational principle of Christ-like living that transcends to us today as believers… We must care enough for others that the manner in which we live our lives before them honors God, and communicates that these individuals have real value. In a word, we must demonstrate that we LOVE them. Why? Because God loves them. This mindset is the motivation behind FFE. One could ask how FFE came to be? Simply stated, God has blessed a vision that was prompted by circumstance…
Ten years ago I was serving as a High School teacher in the social sciences department. That December, while school was out on Christmas break, my car was rear-ended by another vehicle. The accident resulted in a permanent back injury… nevertheless God was in charge! I knew in my heart He had something planned for me… and for my family, that could bless others. And the vision for FFE was born!
God has immeasurably blessed me by way of my wonderful family to develop this new home business. Because of my husband’s amazing generosity, shrewd business acumen, wise counsel, continued patience, belief in my abilities, and most especially, our faith in Almighty God, we are now launching FFE. I must also acknowledge our precious daughters and beloved sons-in-law, who on numerous occasions extended not only their business prowess and artistic expertise, but were a constant source of encouragement throughout the entire “Home Business” preparation journey.
Thank YOU for indulging me as I recounted this path God has so faithfully lead me towards. In truth, my real hope and prayer for FFE is that it not only function as a business, but as a ministry.
